I am putting this site together as a supplement for the greek class put together by Pastor Brown. I have been taking a language since junior high, so I have a bunch of study aids and ideas for helping your study.
This site will be primarily for motivating study and helping you to study smarter. I’ll have things like printable flash cards, audio reviews, downloadable study guides, polls, and lots more.
So here’s a brief a tour of this blog to help you use it to its potential:
- First is the post itself. The post is what you are reading right now. Think of it like a newspaper article, with the newest article appearing at the top of the website. You can comment on every post. At the top of this post under the title there is a link that says “leave a comment”. Go click it and leave a quick comment. Just say hi. You can also rate every post. There is a thumbs up and a thumbs down at the bottom of every post. So if its helpful to you add a thumbs up. If the post is terrible, put a thumbs down.
- Third is the side bar. On the side bar we have a lot of things. The search is pretty self explanatory, but right under that we have a poll. So right now go vote. Check out the responses so far. We will have a new poll every week. This is for pastors sake to see how well you understand, how you are studying etc.
- Under the poll there is categories and under that archives. They both deal with previous posts. Categories orders them by topic and archives orders them by date.
- Under the archives is a the recent comments area. This will list the most recent comments people make.
- Under that you see a black box labelled files. I will upload all the handouts Pastor Brown hands out and you can download them there. The one that is there now is just a sample.
So thats the blog in a nutshell. If you have any questions leave a comment. I’ll put up a few study aids between now and Sunday.
Good luck with your studies!
